What to include for accurate quotes
- System size (kW DC / MW) and module wattage, e.g. 2.4 MW with 600 W bifacial modules
- Mounting: fixed tilt, single-axis tracker, roof or carport
- Inverter type and rating: string or central, kW AC, voltage (e.g. 1500 V DC)
- Storage: kWh, chemistry (LFP), and coupling (AC or DC)
- BOS: wire gauge, connectors, combiners, grounding, conduit
- Certifications or constraints: UL 1741, IEEE 1547, domestic content, FEOC
- Delivery ZIP or state, required-on-site date, and unloading needs
BOM quote questions
Do I need an account to send a BOM?
No. Build the list, add your name and work email at submit, and Sunhub sourcing confirms by email. An account is optional and only needed to track quotes in a dashboard.
How fast do quotes come back on a full BOM?
Sunhub starts reviewing within one business day. Category lines that verified suppliers carry in stock are usually quoted first; long-lead items such as transformers or switchgear can take longer.
Which project sizes fit the builder?
Residential through utility scale. Enter capacity in kW or MW and module wattage, and the builder sizes module counts and starter lines for racking, BOS, inverters, storage and grid equipment.
Can I send quantities that are still TBD?
Yes. Mark any line as To confirm. Suppliers quote what is defined and flag what they need, so an incomplete takeoff does not block pricing.
Is my contact information shown to suppliers?
No. Your email and phone stay with Sunhub sourcing. Suppliers see the equipment list, quantities, delivery state and timing only.
