    MPPT harvests more energy when array voltage is well above battery voltage and is standard for most new builds. PWM is cheaper and suits small arrays matched to the battery voltage.

    Only within its input limits. Larger systems often use several controllers in parallel on one bank; tell the supplier the total array size so they can advise.
