Is my bill of materials uploaded anywhere?: No. The file is read in your browser and nothing is stored. Only when you choose to post a source request are the line items copied into that request.
How is the domestic cost percentage calculated?: Each manufactured product line contributes its cost multiplied by its domestic share. The total domestic cost is divided by the total manufactured products cost and compared with the threshold for your construction start year (40% to 55%).
Why are steel and iron lines scored separately?: Structural steel and iron is a pass or fail requirement: every line must be 100% melted and poured in the United States. One line below 100% locks out the bonus regardless of the cost percentage.
